To much yeast!
No no, not like that! We just moved into a new house. As I was packing up to move, I uncovered that I currently have in my baking supplies a half-pound of yeast. Seriously. I mean, who needs that much yeast, aside from a bakery (which I am not!)? Well apparently I had some major bread plans. Or at least I do now. For the next, month...maybe more depending on how long it takes me to use said yeast, I will be posting a series of yeasted breads. I mean, I've always wanted to be a better bread baker! I guess this is as good a reason as any.
As a side note, Amazon should not sell large bags of yeast. I blame all of this on prime! First up is an easy, Recette du pain. A hearty, so simple and lovely to look at little bread to get me started.
What would you do with too much yeast?
